Read Week 2 complete! The students are getting better and better with our routines, which means we are accomplishing even more each day!
Please note: if you child is sick, it is their responsibility to acquire and complete any/all work missed while they are away. There is no school for students TOMORROW (January 22nd). Grade 4 - All students in my Math and LA class were given the morning to complete any unfinished work. Many students completed everything. Some students are bringing home a small amount of homework (think: colouring or 2-3 math questions). Others are bringing home a lot (think: more than 20 minutes). If your child falls into the last category please, have a conversation with them about using their class time more effectively (unless they've been sick). Read our Language Update. Grade 6 - Students have been participating in a Grammar-palooza with 2 of the Grade 6 classes at SES. Each group is being a taught a lesson, and being given practice work from a Language Arts teacher (myself, Ms. Storms, or Ms. Wilker). Please ask your child which grammar lesson they completed today. :) Read our Language Update. Today, the Grade 6 students were also given an opportunity to complete unfinished work. Most students are bringing home work - this is unrelated to classroom effort. There is just a lot of work! Hope you all enjoy your weekend! Ms. W. Comments are closed.
